From 1982 to 2004, Havezodin served as a director and vice president of ABC Television. Before joining ABC TV, Havezodin was a consultant to the United Nations in Vienna. Earlier, he was a legal advisor to US President Jimmy Carter. Harvey graduated from Harvard Law School in 1973 and obtained a Master's degree in Law from the London School of Economics in 1974. He is a lifelong member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the National Geographic Society of the United States.
