Tim Blanks

Since 1985, Tim Blanks has been reporting fashion news from around the world. He previously hosted the fashion archives of a global television program broadcasted by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation CBC. Since 2006, he has been a contributing editor for Stylecom website, responsible for reviewing and filming fashion from major fashion capitals around the world, such as women's, men's, and haute couture. In addition, Blanks often writes articles on fashion and entertainment for numerous international magazines and newspapers. He is one of the invited curators for the Global New Fashion Overview - Sample Exhibition organized by Feiton Publishing. He also helped Stade write monographs on Michael Roberts and a commemorative book celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of Dolce&Gabbana menswear, as well as a catalog of Alexander McQueen's exhibitions held at the Metropolitan Museum, monographs on the men's clothing brands Walter van Belandok\/Antwerp's Crazy Old Man and Bottega, and also helped Priest hold a new fashion photography exhibition. In May 2013, Blanks was awarded the Media Award in memory of Eugenia Shepard by the Council of Fashion Designers in the United States. Blanks was born in New Zealand and has been living in London since 1990, with a lineup of celebrity dog Jackie Russell.
