Miriam Widman

Dr. Miriam Widman is the owner, founder, and general manager of Widman Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the sustainable development of cities and economies, particularly airport cities and smart city development. Miriam holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, as well as a PhD from the University of Southern Cross in Australia. During her doctoral studies, she mainly studied the relationship between airport cities and economic development. Miriam has extensive experience in project management, strategic management, and research projects, and has worked for different companies such as Lufthansa and Copenhagen International Airport. She has delivered relevant speeches at industry conferences in Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe, and is also responsible for the strategic management part of the MBA program at Southern Cross University. Currently, Miriam actively participates in the construction of numerous airport cities and smart cities in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
