Daniel Shertman

In 2011, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for discovering quasicrystals. He is an Israeli chemist, Israeli materials scientist, Philippe Tobias Professor of Materials Science at the Israel Institute of Technology, and Professor of Materials Science at Iowa State University
