Eric Muskin

Professor at the Princeton Institute of Advanced Studies, winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Economics. Known as the \most respected master of international economics today\. In 2003, he became the President of the World Econometric Society. Maskin's theory is closely related to China's reform. In the mid-1980s, Chinese students who went abroad to study worshipped him, including Li Daokui, Qian Yingyi, Xu Chenggang, Bai Chong'en, and Wang Yijiang. In 2007, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics for his contributions to \mechanism design theory\.
