M ichael Heizer

Michael Heise primarily provides economic and strategic advice to the Allianz SE board of directors. He is responsible for analyzing and predicting the German and international economy, as well as financial markets and risk analysis. Heise graduated from the University of Cologne and has delivered speeches at the European Business School located in Oestrich Winkel and Johann Wolfgang Goethe University at Frankfurt am Main. He is also an honorary professor at Goethe University. Before joining the Allianz Group, Heise was the Secretary General of the German Council of Economic Experts, Chief Economist of DG Bank, and Chief Economist and Research Director of the German Central Cooperative Bank DZ Bank.
