你看过一节的快乐的戏剧课吗？一堂美妙的戏剧课又会有什么？它能赋予孩子哪些能力？你是否也曾幻想过戏剧的世界？

Have you seen a happy drama class? What are the activities of a drama class? What’s the benefits of a drama class? Have you ever dreamed about a fancy drama world?

孩子一定要当主角才能充分展示吗？在孩子的世界里并不是当了主角、拿了名次就会开心，他们真正需要的是家长们的鼓励。戏剧教学的不同之处在于它更注重体验式学习。

Is it necessary that a child should play the leading character? In the children’s world, it is not they play the leading character or win the price makes them happy, it is the encouragement from parents that matters to them. What makes drama education different is that it focuses on the experience-based learning.

在戏剧教学的过程中，戏剧对于孩子来说更像是充满新奇的体验与自我表达。戏剧课堂里没有桌椅、课本，所有活动都在老师与孩子间的互动中完成。孩子通过扮演角色了解不同人物的性格特点，体会不同人物的内心感受，在不同的情境中领会人生的智慧。真诚、善良、勇敢、自信……这些良好的品质也正是戏剧教育最需要赋予给孩子的东西。

In the process of drama teaching, it is more like a kind of game to children, full of new experience and self-expressions. There are no tables and chairs in a drama classroom. All the activities are carried out by interactions between the teacher and children. By playing different characters, children understand various personalities, experience different feelings and learn the wisdom of life in different scenarios. Sincerity, kindness, courage and confidence etc are the characters that we want our students to have.

孩子们想要表达的自已想法和情感，但就是不知道如何宣泄出来。Mr.M的戏剧课程，提供了一套安全的，持续性的，积极的学习课程。在此当中，所有学员都有 参与感，都能在没有失败、恐惧与担忧的课堂中成长和发展，因为我们不断鼓励和赞扬每一个孩子的努力。

Many children know the thoughts and emotions they want to express, but somehow they cannot get them out. The Mr.M system provides a secure, consistent, positive learning programme in which all children can grow and develop without fear of failure. The individual efforts of each child are encouraged and praise whenever possible. ▲ 老师会鼓励每一个学员积极自信地参与到课堂活动中来并尽可能地跟着老师大声地说台词

The teacher is encouraging the children and their parents to join the activities confidently and actively. At the mean time, they are asked to say the lines loudly.

在当今高度竞争的社会中，成功的人都拥有好的口才并且充满自信。一个有着自信的风度，清晰善辩的口才，好的眼神交流和倾听技巧的年轻人，更容易在激烈的竞争中脱颖而出。

In today’s highly competitive world, it is the confident, articulate person who succeeds. The young person with a relaxed, confident manner, clear, articulate speech, good eye contact and attentive listening skills, stands a far better chance of gaining a rewarding position.

我们的戏剧课程非常注重语言能力的培养。从课程一开始就鼓励学生用完整的语句表达自己。因为受电视和网络的巨大影响，孩子们每天都在被动接受大量信息，而缺乏表达和交流。因此教授基本交流与谈话技巧是极为重要的。因此，在整个课程中都着重与强调语言交流和发展。

We focus on children’s language development. From the beginning, students are encouraged to express themselves in whole sentence. Because of the impact of television and network, and the hours of passive viewing by so many children, it is necessary to teach the basic conversational skills. Therefore, the importance of verbal communication and language development is stressed throughout the programme.

The teacher is teaching them how to pronounce in an interesting way. Meanwhile, they are also asked to use the sentences they have learned to express themselves.

Effective Social Interaction

通过设定不同角色，学员们能够学会理解更为广阔的人类与社会状况，这能够帮助他们更有效的把学校与社会生活中的实际情况联系起来。

By assuming many different roles, children can learn to appreciate a much wider variety of people and situations. This in turn helps them to relate more effectively to numerous “real life” social situations, both at school and within the broader community.

They are distributing the character all by themselves, from which they learned how to communicate with others friendly and effectively.

羞涩内向的学生能很快增强自信来更流畅的表达自己。活泼外向的学生则学会自我控制的重要性。孩子们学会放松和更容易的与他人互动，从而为更加快乐和充实的人生做铺垫。

Shy, introverted children soon gain in confidence and are able to express themselves more fluently. Vivacious extroverts learn the importance of self-control. They learn to relax and interact more easily with other people, thus paving the way to a happier, more fulfilling life.

Our drama system teaches valuable life-skills such as sharing, discussing, negotiating, leadership and cooperation. It encourages students to develop a sense of humor and the ability to express themselves in a variety of situations. We aim to give children the greatest gift---the ability to believe fully in themselves and their future.

课程究竟学什么？

@第1学期— 第一学期将 着重于通过个人和小组练习和构建表演技巧，建立表演规则意识及英文理解力和表达能力。

通过的学生会直接安排到第二学期的课程，并将开始学习及探索扮演人物角色和主题表演。因此，在第一学期结束时，每位学员将会分配到在新年假期期间要学习的角色。

@第2学期---- 学员们将会训练情感表达和解决冲突的能力，并巩固表演技巧及掌握剧情脉络，主要学习目的是为六月的戏剧秀做准备，学员们将通过舞台进行学习成果展示，提升自信心，公众表达力以及舞台表现力。

经过第一学期与学员们的接触后，将会在第一学期的第4周将会决定选用哪一个戏剧剧本 or 哪一个经典故事。

节目将根据加入本班级学员的兴趣、语言水平以及班级中男女生的比例和人数来选择匹配和适合的戏剧节目。

The show to be performed at the end of the second semester will be determined by week 4 of the first semester. The show will be chosen according to interest, language level and the number of girls and boys in the class.
