President Trump appointed Wall Street financier Scaramucci as the director of the White House Communications Office. On July 25, 2017, Anthony Scaramucci, who had not yet officially joined, began working. In 2016, Scaramucci ranked 85th among the 100 most powerful figures in the global financial industry in Value Magazine. In 2011, he was awarded the Ernst&Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which belongs to the New York Financial Services category. Scaramucci is a member of the Association for Foreign Relations, Vice Chairman of the Kennedy Center Enterprise Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Brain Oncology Foundation and a business executive organization serving national security, and a member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. From 2007 to 2012, he was a member of the New York City Financial Services Advisory Committee.
