Sir Arthur Harden,FRS(12 October 1865 – 17 June 1940) was a Britishbiochemist. He shared theNobel Prize in Chemistryin 1929 withHans Karl August Simon von Euler-Chelpinfor their investigations into thefermentationofsugarand fermentativeenzymes.He was a founding member of the Biochemical Society and editor of theBiochemical Journalfor 25 years.
