The head of Merck Group in China has held leadership positions in China, T\u00fcrkiye, Russia and the United States, with more than 25 years of management experience. Before joining the German Merck Group, he was the head of Pfizer in China and has been working in China since 1999., He was responsible for several fast-growing markets in Pfizer Global Pharmaceutical Group, including Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Pakistan and Thailand, and committed to specific projects for developing countries to enable more Asian patients to access more innovative drugs. He was awarded the Magnolia Award by the Shanghai Municipal Government twice in 2008 and 2010, in recognition of his outstanding contributions in leading Pfizer China to the development of Shanghai's healthcare industry. He also served as Vice Chairman of the Asia Senior Executive Committee of the American Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association PhRMA and Co Chairman of the RhRMA China Working Group, assisting in promoting the development of industry policies and measures, thereby expanding the accessibility of medical services, and actively shaping a good business environment to drive industry growth
