Effi Viena is a professor of bioethics at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and a renowned expert in medicine, data, and ethics. She focuses on important social issues such as data and technology related to scientific progress, as well as how to apply these technologies to public and personal health. Due to her strong interest in health policies, she and the World Health Organization are jointly committed to addressing ethical issues related to reproductive medicine research.
