Antonialados is the most popular international news journalist and host on German television media, and has won many awards. Prior to 2009, she served as the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for the European broadcasting and television media giant of RTL Group in Germany. She has livestreamed the Iraq War and the Arab Spring movement in dangerous environments. Her coverage of crisis events is world-renowned, and her dedication to the environment of war is recognized. It was precisely because of her multiple appearances in the war environment in the Middle East that Antonia herself became an expert on Middle East issues. In 1979, Antonia worked as a freelance writer specializing in reporting on events related to Lebanon and Iran. In 1989, she reported on the Romanian Revolution and subsequently worked for the ARD Media Group in Germany for three years. In 1993, she joined RTL Media Group and became the editor in chief of RTL's Paris branch in 1995. A year later, she became the chief foreign affairs reporter of RTL. In 2008, she decided to work for ZDF German Television II, one of the largest television stations in Europe.
