Kenichi Ota served as a partner at McKinsey for 23 years, co founding McKinsey's Strategic Management Practice and responsible for McKinsey's operations in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. In 2002, he was hired as a consultant in Liaoning Province and Tianjin City, China. Kenichi Ohmae is the founder and managing director of Ohmae Associates, and has also founded other businesses.
