Currently, Ted serves as the industry and retail director for Google, where he has been working for over 14 years. Ted is responsible for managing a team that helps some of the world's largest retailers position themselves in the face of the digital future. Before entering the retail industry, Sude spent a year in Paris, where he served as the head of international strategic sales and operations responsible for key tasks in southern and eastern Europe, as well as the Middle East and Africa region. Sude is also an industry speaker, employee trainer, and a member of the executive team in Southern and Eastern Europe. In his early career at Google, he held various leadership positions in the sales and account management departments, and was responsible for helping Google open and operate company offices in Chicago, Dallas, and Detroit. Sude was an early experimenter who had already worked for some early online brand companies as early as the mid-1990s, such as AOL, Excite, and groundbreaking social music startup Echo Networks. Currently, he actively participates in various civic and educational institutions. He is the Vice Chairman of the Chicago Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Management Advisory Committee of the Fritsk Nobel School of Hotel Management at the University of Denver in the United States, a member of the Rauners Governor's Innovation and Competitiveness Committee, and a board member of the world's leading business incubator project 1871.
