Liswell is known for her focus on beauty, natural wellness, and wellness, as well as her active advocacy for activities aimed at sustainable health and social issues. Liz is a best-selling author who has authored over 30 books covering various health, beauty, and lifestyle issues. She has also hosted numerous television programs and served as a regular contributor to the BBC's beauty series, including her from the inside out. As the founder of Liswell Beauty Limited, which has won numerous awards, Liswell established her own brand of the same name and developed it into the largest independent beauty company in the UK. The company was first acquired by Avon and then by Walgreens Boots in 2010. As one of the first brands to implement an omnichannel operation model, Liswell Natural Vitality skincare products were first launched on the American TV shopping company QVC shopping channel and are still best-selling brands to this day. Due to her love for natural plant ingredients, Liz always pays attention to the procurement of sustainable materials from around the world. In 2007, Liswell was awarded the Order of the British Empire in recognition of her contributions to the beauty industry. She also received honorary doctoral degrees from the University of Portsmouth and Staffordshire University. Liz co founded the Health Writers Association and served as its first Vice Chairman. She is also the founder of the Food Labeling Agenda and actively promotes clear, comprehensive, and meaningful food labeling at the government level. She is known for her research in botany, support for organic herbivorous agriculture, and sustainable community reconstruction projects. In 2010, she founded the LiveTwice charity, providing assistance and opportunities to vulnerable groups in the UK and developing countries, especially East Africa. Liz is an ambassador for institutions such as the Soil Association, the Sustainable Food Foundation, the National Eczema Association, the National Osteoporosis Society, the Prince Foundation, the Center for Social Justice, and the Reconstruction of Africa, as well as a sponsor of ACE Africa.
