Vivek is an entrepreneur as well as an academic, author, and keynote speaker. His research focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, computing, synthetic biology, 3D printing, medicine, and nanomaterials, and how these advances will disrupt companies, industries, governments, and cultures. Vivek returned to Harvard to embark on a major three-year research project into the impact of technology on the future of employment and work. This project, in collaboration with a renowned team at Harvard Law School, will be the first study of how technology will affect the core of the economy.
