Anlan Roy is an experienced researcher with nearly 30 years of work experience in the fields of marketing, policy consulting, and academia. Anlan is a global macro researcher\/thought leader specializing in innovative research that links global demographics with development, debt, asset prices, pensions and insurance, asset allocation and risk management departments, distribution, health, migration, and unemployment issues. He works for a global customer base from over 30 countries, including fund managers, hedge fund companies, insurance companies, pension fund institutions, sovereign wealth fund SWFs, governments, and central banks. He is a senior research assistant in the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics and a visiting professor in the Department of Finance at the London Business School. He also works on the S&P Index Advisory Committee. From 1998 to 2016, he worked at Credit Suisse in Switzerland, responsible for developing client franchise rights in the global population and pension fields. Recently, he served as the Managing Director and Director of the Global Population Research Institute. Previously, he worked as a global emerging market strategist, developing multinational risk and allocation models that were adopted by numerous clients, central banks, governments, and ministries of finance. He has also served as an expert in financial frameworks\/crisis simulations for the Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund, and the UK Treasury. He has been appointed as an ESRC researcher at the UK Economic and Social Research Council, a doctoral scholar at Boston University, and a national scholar at the Indian government. Anlan holds a master's and doctoral degree in Financial Economics from the University of Iowa; A Master's degree in Business Administration from the Indian School of Management in Ahmedabad and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. For the past three years, Anlan has served as a global conference spokesperson for over 70 conferences each year. Anlan has extensive connections with financial and economic scholars from leading universities in the United States and Europe. He also teaches courses in investment, derivatives, asset pricing, econometrics, dynamic macroeconomics, and monetary policy at some universities.
