Benjamin List(German pronunciation:[ˈbɛnjamiːnˈlɪst]ⓘ; born 11 January 1968) is a German chemist who is one of the directors of theMax Planck Institute for Coal Researchand professor oforganic chemistryat theUniversity of Cologne. He co-developedorganocatalysis, a method of accelerating chemical reactions and making them more efficient.
