Member of the Econometric Society, academic advisor to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and visiting professor at multiple academic institutions such as Cambridge University and Stanford University. Received the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economics for outstanding contributions in empirical analysis of asset prices., Professor Shiller is the main founder of contemporary behavioral finance and is considered a member of the emerging Keynesian school.
